Social Media has evolved into a tool for creating and promoting brand awareness. Businesses have created social media ads to reach potential consumers, and they have also analyzed social media analytics to gauge their performance and reputation.

Today, a majority of Americans use some form of social media. Facebook has nearly 1.7 billion users. Despite the growth in user numbers, however, it has a declining share among teens. Meanwhile, Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram have all experienced growth.

There is no doubt that the social media landscape will continue to evolve as the internet and digital technologies continue to develop. The dividing line between traditional and social media will continue to blur, and the future of the industry is only limited by the imagination of its stakeholders.
